MEET THE HORSES

Jack is a cuddly 15 y/o chestnut Quarter Horse gelding who has been Gillian's teaching partner for the past 8 years.  He has been proven to be a wonderful teacher and riding companion.

Hudson is a 24+ y/o bay Morgan x Clydesdale gelding dressage school master.  Gillian has worked with Hudson and his previous owner for the past 8 years and is thrilled to welcome him to Slieve Bloom Farm.

Rumpy is the newest member to the herd.  He is a 12.1 hh bay pony who has the patience of a saint. He loves his food and nickers at you when it is feeding time.  He will be an excellent teacher to Gillian's youngest son who has started to learn to ride.  

Rufus is a 9 y/o standard donkey standing at 9.2 hh.  He came to live with us in Jan 2018 as a companion for Jack, Rumpy, and Hudson.  He is very friendly and extremely lovable.  Rufus always makes sure to remind us that it is meal time.
